Winter Light

February

Exploring the theme of creating a sense of vastness through very small paintings. Starting with a wash of watercolors on a cradled wood panel, I build layers of encaustics, create the turbulent sky by intensifying the heat with a heat gun and then adding touches of oil paints mixed with beeswax.

  1. Where can I purchase some of your original art? I love your work

    • Hello, Gillian! I have set up an Etsy site (The Etsy site is https://www.etsy.com/ and my store is ReginaQuinnArts.) I’ve only posted a few pieces thus far but will be adding more soon! I also have work in several different shows around the country. If there is a piece or type of work you particularly like, you can let me know and I could send you more info. Thanks for your message. Regina
